Air Filter Replacement
Combustion requires vast quantities of air to mix with the fuel to enable it to burn correctly. Air entering the engine must be clean, as dirt and other debris can damage sensitive engine components. The air enters through the radiator grille and passes into the air filter, which traps dirt and other contaminants before allowing the clean air to enter the engine.,
As time passes, the filter becomes clogged with dirt and other debris, restricting airflow into the engine. This skews the air-to-fuel ratio, causing the engine to become fuel-rich. A fuel-rich engine burns fuel inefficiently, wasting fuel and causing issues like misfiring or stalling. In addition, the spark plugs, ignition coils, and other components suffer damage. Once we replace this filter, your engine will work efficiently again.
Battery Testing
The battery plays a vital role in your Ford, as it provides the initial electrical charge that starts the combustion process by cranking the engine. Despite its importance, a battery has a relatively short life of only three to five years before it fails due to the neutral breakdown of the chemicals inside it.
As time passes, your battery will steadily weaken. We advise testing your battery when it is three years old and following this with annual retesting. A regular testing schedule helps protect against a suddenly dead battery. We'll hook your battery to our computerized battery tester, which subjects the battery to various tests and then analyses the results. If your battery is weak or failing, we can quickly replace it for you.
Oil Replacement
Oil is pumped through the engine by the oil pump and helps your engine to work effectively. The oil coats numerous components, lubricating them so they can work faster and smoother and protecting against friction damage. Oil also helps cool hot components, protecting your engine against overheating. In addition, oil additives protect against rust, clear blockages, and keep the engine clean.
Older oil becomes thicker and slower as it absorbs dirt and other minute debris inside the engine. This reduces its lubricating ability, causing an increase in wear and tear on components. If the oil isn't changed regularly, older oil will eventually cause engine damage. We prevent this problem by draining and replacing the old oil and installing a new filter so the oil flows freely.
